Turnover in Japanese IT Professionals: Antecendants and Nuances

The Japanese information technology (IT) workplace is unique compared to that of other nations. IT represents a large sector the country’s economy, and organizations need develop proactive approaches retain their workforce. In order manage employee turnover, they understand distinctive factors influencing turnover intention, as intention known be reliable predictor actual turnover. this study, model was constructed tested with data collected from 284 professionals. Our findings show effects work exhaustion, personal accomplishment, friendship networks on are fully mediated through job satisfaction. Work-home conflict has no impact strength relationships stronger for younger than older organizations. Furthermore, individualistic (i.e., exhaustion accomplishment) have satisfaction collectivistic work-home networks). These results fragility notion long-term employment, which supposed embraced within entire culture.
